July has had some pretty hot and humid days, the kind of days that make you feel as if you worked in a sauna-especially in huge metal machines that seem to attract every ray from the sun up above. Nevertheless, our rugged and dedicated team members brave the Jersey heat, rock the farmer’s tan, and always give 100% wherever they work. Currently, we are operating on a huge land-clearing job with nearly 200 acres. Having cleared the whole lot, we are grinding the cedar and hardwood from the location-which is all for sale if you’re interested. (That was a shameless plug, but I’m sure you understand) Returning to my point; this can become pretty monotonous at times as you separate, pile, load, and grind the trees, then repeat, repeat, repeat. Maybe you can relate. Maybe you can’t. But regardless, we have all experienced bad days. As with any career or job, there are pros and cons. Maybe you dislike your employer or don’t get along with a coworker. The possibilities are endless. The exciting part though is that you, most often than not, can determine the outcome. By simply focusing on the positive qualities your workplace has to offer, you can change your environment. As you go about your daily grind today, you may not be chipping cedar or even working outside. But I challenge you to think one positive thought or share one encouraging word. For with your one positive deed, you can create a chain reaction, and that reaction can lead many more people to have positive influences. Before you know it, your positivity has impacted your whole environment. “Successful people make the most of the best and the best of the worst.” Rise and grind folks! The best is yet to come.
Did you know? Your past experiences, including FAILURE can prepare you for future opportunities in life? Failure is a reality, but how you react to your challenging circumstances can set the stage for your destiny in life and quite possibly an even greater future success. Do you want an example? I'm glad you asked. Have you ever heard of a man named Henry Ford? Well, he transformed the automobile industry and the way we live with his factory made car called the Model T. This car, also known as "Tin Lizzie" was the first car made affordable for the majority of Americans. Perhaps you heard of it? But did you know that before Henry succeeded with the FORD MOTOR COMPANY, he failed not one time, but TWICE! Both of Ford's business failures resulted in bankruptcy. How hard that must have been on him! Yet, I am inspired by the fact that he did not retreat. Instead, he chose to face his fears. He realigned his mental thinking and moved forward with making his dream a reality. Henry Ford defied the odds and his success changed our world with a legacy that continues on to this day! Imagine what we would have lost if he threw in the towel and gave up? So, my purpose in writing today is to encourage you. Keep moving forward in your life and business. We all face failure at some point. But learn from it! As Henry Ford once said, "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently." So Friends, don't give up on your dreams. Continue on. Do what you were called to do!

On the other hand, in the midst of such emotion, our team was unfortunately informed that a friend suffered a great loss. Their home was completely destroyed by a fire. Upon hearing the news Wild Heart jumped into motion and has successfully cleared the area. We are now licensed to work in the state of Pennsylvania and permitted to haul. We are here to help our customers and put their needs first. So, if you know of anyone who needs demolition due to unfortunate circumstances, we are the team to ease their fears and resolve such construction needs in an orderly manner. We have also been keeping busy with various clearing jobs and private bids as people continue to call the office in search of a solution to their needs. With the Fall season approaching, the bids are flowing in at a steady pace. There are a couple large jobs we are looking forward to bidding, and hopefully, in the midst of such a competitive industry, we will come out victorious. Stay connected with all we are doing until our next blog post, and visit our website or contact us with any questions or perspective jobs. May your work vests keep you safe and your hard hats alive.
Wild Heart is at it again, and we have some exciting news! We are currently hydroseeding Princeton University. The area is approximately 18 acres and should be fully seeded within the week. If you are interested in how efficient and effective hydroseeding is, please check out our past blog posts for more information. As many recognize, the work we do is very diverse. Our work projects take us all over the Tri-State area. This past month we worked in New York State, completing our demolition assignment of a parking deck. Simultaneously, we fulfilled two other demolition contracts. One was of various masonry buildings in Wharton, NJ; the other project was for a Fortune 500 company, also known for being the largest home builder by revenue in the United States. Our work consisted of demolition, land clearing, concrete crushing, and grading. We prepared the land for the upcoming homes they will soon build. Currently, our commercial division is working on a demolition project in Howell, NJ. We are demolishing a three-story municipal building, consisting of 15,000 square feet. As always, we are thankful and appreciative for each client. Our goal is to complete your job in a professional and timely manner, while communicating well and building up a strong working relationship. Please call us for a FREE estimate, contact us for references, or check out the rest of our website or Facebook page for further information. Thank you!
Looking back over the 2015-2016 snow season, New Jersey was pretty warm. It was the first time in years that we experienced weather this mild. However, Winter Storm Jonas changed everything. Not only was it the first measurable snow fall of the season, it was a massive blizzard, leaving nearly 30 inches in some counties across the state. Needless to say, Wild Heart had men out for close to 3 days cleaning up the effects. Many companies ran short on manpower as the weather and working hours took a toll on them and were not able to handle that amount of snow at one time. However, with expert experience and teamwork, we were able to not only complete our jobs, but also help a few other local businesses in the area. This winter we cleared approximately 34 inches of snow. This year, we are proud as we look back over the winter season, and excited as we shift our focus back toward our main source of revenue-demolition. We will be working not only in New Jersey, but finishing up some work in New York as well in the next couple of months. One more final exciting piece of news is the fact that we are now registered as NJ State DPMC General Contractors. So, our possibilities for doing demolition work have grown and we are looking forward to what our future holds. Hydroseeding This year alone, starting from January, we have seeded approximately 500,000 square feet! Hydroseeding is a process that has been around for a little over 60 years. The first commercial hydroseeder was invented in the US in the early 1950’s. The actual process occurs by utilizing water pressure to impregnate the soil layer with seed, fertilizer, and mulch. This procedure allows the seed to be protected from the elements and gives it the best chance of survival. The prime times to seed are during the Spring and Fall. As you could imagine, when the colder months roll in hydroseeding generally slows down due to the extreme conditions. The same could be said of certain summer months depending on the intensity of the heat. However, with the luke-warm weather we experienced this year in New Jersey, we were able to continue seeding the land as we demolished structures. The only time we really experienced a standstill in hydroseeding was when Winter Storm Jonas hit. Interesting advantages that hydroseeding provides are as follow: time, money, and eco-friendly rehabilitation. Due to the hefty pump system in hydroseeding, you can plant a large area in a very short time. It is proven to be efficient and cost effective. Generally, the process saves money compared to the rate of installation of sod. In addition, hydroseeding has been tested and found to be a successful method for establishing new vegetation and is a great system for stopping erosion. If you are looking for a way to benefit the planet and create a natural landscape, why not take a look at hydroseeding! Here at Wild Heart, we would love to get the job done for you.
